The Toei remaster looks stunning to say the least and the subs were great for the most part. Seeing it in Japanese for the first time was a real treat and is definitely better than the cheesy (yet classically camp) old dub. I'd agree with Daniel that more stuff like Urban Vision/Streamline's back catalog is definitely up your guy's alley.
