Congrats. Maybe you can slap a quote from the HALO guy on the cover to boost sales? http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-02-12/halo-legends-frank-oconnor-interviewed

The blandness doesn’t bother me, or the repeated use of that image, but YEAH, I’ve waited years to watch this series in it’s entirety, I just hope the original Japanese credits are used, I love when US releases do that.

Discotek, will you be including the English dub Manga Entertainment used?

Well, a few of us knew that the Manga dub would be added so the only thing i’m hoping out of this update is that the opening & ending that they made for their releases are NOT included or if so then as extras at least.

Fantastic! Thanks for the update Discotek, this news is circulating on all the forums now. Hooray for the English dub and a double hooray for the great retail price. This is amazing value for money.

Just to add to Area88’s post, triple hooray for keeping the original openings, endings and previews. I’ll be looking forward to this set.

I am there with this release, man. It’ll be good to see real R1 releases for the entire series.

BTW, any chance the songs will be subbed on the home video release?

This is a dream come true. Licensing from Toei AND from Manga Entertainment? I’m marking my calendar, and I hope you see the commercial success you deserve.
